Water Polo Canada has updated the age categories for national-level competitions for the 2024-2025 season. To maintain consistency across the country, Water Polo Saskatchewan will be aligning with these changes. As a result, our club will be adjusting our training groups to match the new classifications for provincial competitions.
CL and PCC Age Group Changes
Mini = 9U (previously 10U) born 2016 and later
Atom = 12U (previously 13U) born 2013-2015
Bantam = 14U (previously 15U) born 2011-2012
Open = 15+ (previously 16+) born 2010 and earlier
NCL Age Group Changes
16U (previously 15U) = 2009-2010
18U (previously 17U) = 2007-2008
Senior (19+, previously 18+) = 2006 and earlier
