Bryden Goosen | Marauders and Adult Rec Coach + ILWP Manager

Bryden began his water polo career with Regina Armada, where he played throughout his competitive years. He transferred from Campbell Collegiate to Martin Academy, which allowed him to balance school and his beloved sport. This move contributed to his and his teammates' success, winning a national gold medal in 2015 in the 16U division and two national bronze medals in his 19U seasons.

After his competitive playing career, Bryden transitioned to coaching at Regina Armada, where he helped develop players in their ILWP program and semi-competitive program. He later moved to Saskatoon to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Saskatchewan Polytechnic. In 2020, he began coaching the Saskatoon Pirates and continues to do so. Bryden has now graduated from the nursing program and is becoming a Registered Nurse with the SHA.

At the Shaw Centre, you'll find Bryden coaching our Marauders, Adult Rec, and ILWP athletes, and hopping in the pool with our Adult Comp group. You’ll also catch Bryden on deck with Team Sask, either playing in the NCL Senior league or coaching!
