What is a MO?

No, it’s not who is MO.

MO stands for Minor Officials and we couldn’t run CL sand Provincials without them! During community and provincial events, two minor officials (a game secretary and a timekeeper) are needed for each game.

This responsibility is not a big time commitment, however, it has a significant impact on both these events and our club. Games cannot be played without MOs. When MOs are organized & on time, these events run more smoothly. Volunteering to MO at these smaller events gives you an opportunity to practice and help you prepare to MO at NCL events. Most importantly, it demonstrates your dedication to the club as a parent.

Becoming a Minor Official is EASY!

Water Polo Saskatchewan offers a FREE online 45-minute course to learn about the various roles of MOs. Following your completion of the course, you will be under the guidance of an experienced Minor Official for in-person training at CL events.
