Kids Invited to Make a Splash at Free Aquatic Showcase on August 16th!

The City of Saskatoon and the Saskatoon Pirates are teaming up to host a free Aquatic Showcase event on Friday, August 16 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. during family swim time at the Riversdale Pool.

This special event invites kids to jump in the pool, learn new aquatic skills, and play fun games led by experienced coaches and volunteers. It’s a great way to introduce youth to water-based sports and build comfort and confidence in the water in a safe, welcoming environment.

All kids are welcome to participate, with activities geared toward ages 6-12. No previous experience is necessary — just bring your swimsuit, a smile, and be ready to have fun!

The showcase is included with regular family swim admission, so there’s no extra cost to take part. 

In the event of poor weather, the family swim may be cancelled, and the Aquatic Showcase will be rescheduled. Updates will be shared through the City of Saskatoon and [Your Organization Name] social media channels.
